I am Disgusted

Black Friday madness
A man was trampled to death
I am disgusted

So, a man is trampled to death at a Wal-Mart by a herd of greedy shoppers rampaging to get in the front door. The poor guy was working there and trying to open the doors to let the mob in. They push him down - I heard they even knocked down the glass doors on top of him - and trampled over him. He died. It's disgusting. A human life is worth more than any freaking item contained in that store - and by accounts I heard on the news, nobody stopped to help him. I am sickened by this.

Cold Dog

Shivering . . . shaking . . .
Poor, little doggy wakes me.
He is so very cold.

Big E is very cold lately. It has been below normal down here in Florida, but we haven't turned on the heat at night. So, Big E is cold. I bought him a couple of doggy shirts to wear - cheaper than a higher electric bill!

I was just thinking about history and the random people in it whom you will never hear about. Only the famous stand outs make it into the text books. Yet without those faceless peeps, would these stand outs even exist?
